"Enter into children's play, and you will find the place where their minds, hearts, and souls meet." — Virginia Axline
Hi, I’m Hillary Gombar, LICSW!
With over a decade of mental health experience in schools and non-profits with children and families, I provide a nurturing, non-judgmental space for children to navigate life’s complexities. I believe healing happens within a child’s support network, which is why I prioritize collaborative care through ongoing caregiver consultation.
Drawing from my professional background and my personal journey parenting in a multicultural family, I am committed to a culturally inclusive, child-focused practice. Let's work together to support your child’s growth and well-being.
What is play-based counseling?
Play is a child’s natural way of self-expression. I use: art, sensory & nature-based play, movement, imaginative play, puppeteering, and so much more in our sessions together...
